Baktapur, Nepal : traditional Brick Factories kilns are common sight at Kathmandu fast developing valley. the traditionally made brick is the basis of most of the buildings in Kathmandu. hand made and burned in tall kilns by workers, mostly families, that move here from poor villages for a period of 8 month of dry session for hard, dirty and dangerous work. earning 50$ a month. Many children migrant here by themselves or sent by their families to work in ''one of the most hazardous works for children''. living in a small, temporary brick shacks and exposed to the heat and the pollution caused by the kilns smoke.
